I am proud, I must confess.
I won’t nag—
(so just say YES.)

I am proud (at least in school.)
I won’t plead—
(‘cuz that’s not cool.)

I am proud, but I’ll admit
I won’t beg—
(but I might quit!)

I am proud, (but now unsure).
