GHOST BANANA (WC 200)

By Michelle S. Kennedy

Have you heard of “Ghost Banana?”

A true legend (in his mind.)

A golden, caped bandana cloaked

his spotted, curved behind.

He fancied himself clever, though

he really wasn’t smart.

(He thought his true identity

was hidden when he’d FART.)

He loved to taunt his kitchen-mates

with noxious blasts of gas.

Beneath his cape, it would escape

whenever he would pass...

Frrrrrttt-POUFFFFFFFFTTT!

You’d think that he’d be stealthy with

his flatulence (but NOT.)

His super squeaky sneakers were

the thing that got him caught...

Frrrrrttt! SQUEAKLE... SQUEAKLE... POUFFFFFFFFTTT!

The other fruits and vegetables

had had enough of him,

and felt he needed chastening...

“How ‘bout a little swim?!”

(HEH... HEH... HEH...)

They threw him down a loud commode:

“GURGLE-GAG!” and “GASP!”

And though he tried to hold on tight,

Banana lost his grasp...

AHHHHHHH!!!

As Tammy, (Talking Toilet) flushed

the funnel in her bowl,

FLOOOOOOOSH! went Ghost Banana down

a never-ending hole.

Sometimes that “Ghost Banana” can

be smelled within the plumbing.

Or faintly, you might hear his shoes

above old Tammy’s thrumming...

(SQUEAKLE!)

The tale of Ghost Banana

has a lesson with a wink—

Don’t wear your squeaky sneakers when

you want to cause a stink!

Frrrrrttt! SQUEAKLE... POUFFFFFFFFTTT!
