PUMPKIN SPICE (WC 50)

By Michelle S. Kennedy

There once was a pumpkin named Spice...

His smell was musky and nice.

But weeks in the cold,

left him unsold…

(Not even selling, half-price.)

Spice didn’t like being cheap.

He folded his flesh in a heap.

There by himself,

he decayed on the shelf…

Pity—he just couldn’t keep.
